The number one system for treating and removing iron and sulfur from your water. Iron causes a lot of staining and hydrogen sulfide (sulfur) gives you that rotten egg odor. Manganese is another of the big stainers leaving black stains. The Pyrolox system is an all natural mined ore that oxidizes the iron, sulfur, and manganese from your water changing it to a form that can be trapped and filtered out. The Pyrolox is a very dense media that then traps the oxidized iron and sulfur holding it in the filter media until the control head automatically backflushes to clean itself.
All automatic, once you install this and set it up, nothing else to do except enjoy your new clear, clean, odor and stain free water! These systems sell locally by your water dealers starting at $1100.00 but we give you factory direct prices on new systems, shipped direct to you from the factory, complete and ready to install and start using.
PYROLOX HIGH PURITY MEDIA for FILTERING IRON and MANGANESE Pyrolox works on the principle of a catalyst reaction, but itself remains relatively unchanged. This reaction is accompanied with the formation of intermediate compound or compounds, such as higher oxides of manganese. By alternate composition and decomposition of these oxides, the pyrolox is left unchanged. Pyrolox works on a principle whereby the hydrogen sulfide, iron, and manganese are actually oxidized in the media and simple backwashing cleans the bed. The PYROLOX is very dense and heavy and stops the oxidized solid form of iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide from proceeding any further through the media (anything greater than 20 microns). Since the PYROLOX media is so dense and heavy, high backwash rates are required to clean the media. No chemical regeneration is required and nothing is imparted into the drinking water. iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters
PYROLOX works equally well on three main classes of water:
- Those waters which begin to precipitate hydrogen sulfide, iron and manganese on exposure to air, usually hard water containing carbonates, sulfates, or both.
- Those waters which will hold hydrogen sulfide, iron, and manganese in solution indefinitely, even when chlorinated and/or aerated. These elements usually combine with organic acids and appear in colloidal form.
- Those waters which contain hydrogen sulfide, iron, and manganese, or all, in each of the above forms and therefore deposit a part, but not all, of the element after aeration, chlorination or ozone, and cannot be removed entirely by simple filtration.
PYROLOX is a logical alternative to chlorination, greensand, birm and filox when used for hydrogen sulfide, iron, and manganese. iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters, iron filters
PYROLOX has also proven to be an excellent compliment to aeration, chlorination, and ozone. PYROLOX acts not only as a turbidity filter, but also a polishing filter for any breakthrough of hydrogen sulfur, iron, or manganese with the use of aeration. iron filters, iron filters,
